Opportunity Snapshot

In this position you will be a trailblazer as we implement a new strategy to establish high-level consultative relationships with our corporate clients -- but you won't start from scratch. We have about 200 active corporate accounts and a suite of proven services and programs for you to leverage. You'll start as an individual contributor with a key goal of growing this portfolio (there are some 1 million corporate Notaries in the US). With demonstrated results and leadership, there will be an opportunity to step into a management role. You will act much like a business development officer: corporations have the need, particularly from a risk management angle, and none of our competitors even comes close to the National Notary Association's (NNA) expertise, size, scope, and influence.

To be a good fit for this opportunity you will have a proven track record in consultative B2B sales, including tailoring professional services delivery to customer needs. We're looking for a professional with a demonstrated ability to sell intangibles -- you'll need to convince corporate decision makers of the value of doing business with the NNA first, and then focus on specific programs and services. Quick question for you - click here While you will need an aggressive drive, you also will need the ability to build collaborative relationships that position the NNA as the consulting expert.

The National Notary Association (NNA) is the nationally and internationally recognized professional association for America's Notaries Public, and the authority and thought leader for the profession. You'll join a stable, progressive organization that has over 50 years of success supporting Notaries with an entrepreneurial and forward-thinking approach, and one that places a high value on quality of life.

What Else You'll Bring to the Table

In addition to the qualifications detailed above, you'll need: You also will need to be able to travel nationally up to 50% of the time in this role.

What's in It for You

Revenue growth now and later -- it's like a startup but with an established book of business and the products and services that employers of Notaries need. We expect you'll be able to expand some existing accounts right off the bat simply by changing the way we approach these clients. Over the longer term we believe there is the potential for a multi-million dollar revenue stream from Corporate Services, particularly because of recent legislative changes to which corporations must respond.

Career options -- there is enough growth potential in the Corporate Services line to provide a long and rewarding career for a Sales Executive. At the same time, this portfolio will grow: our current account base includes about 160,000 corporate Notaries, but there are more than a million in the US. As the sales organization grows, down the road, we expect to be looking for a proven leader to manage it.

Entrepreneurship and execution -- your primary goal will be to go out and do what you do best: build the relationships and bring in the business. We'll provide the packaging and pricing as well as the tools you need to succeed. At the same time, you'll help refine and implement the strategies to build this service line moving forward.

The nation's leader -- we offer services and products for every stage of a Notary's career, from obtaining an original commission to ongoing education, professional supplies, bonds and insurance, emerging technologies, and more. We also have important products that manage risk for a notary's employer.

Excellent compensation -- in addition to a competitive salary and incentive program, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, life, and disability insurance; a 401(k) and profit sharing plan; 12 paid holidays; and generous paid time off.
